Finished logging & capturing our June 16 footage (Lost Highways Tape 6 & 7).

Began edit of new tapes, chopping up North Geelong Meat Mart interview as well as long background interview in the Peugeot with RS - couple of really good frank moments and some funny bits. I've only just noticed that hoons and cars keep driving by.

This is in most of our footage and I can't help but think is entirely appropriate. I've set up a sequence just to compile these shots.

Maybe we could start it with the title "Welcome to Hoon Central".

Another 2 hours editing. Trimming things down, occasionally adding bits to the rough cut - they are starting to fill in the holes. I'm seeing places for the new material... but as I have 25 minutes to play with, and I've already used 17 this gives me only an additional 8 minutes - something will have to go, eventually.

I have decided to use a more associative editing style - quick jump-cuts on the turn of a phrase as well as sharp juxtapositions.
