Eureka | see also Filter Foundries
Eureka was the source of the very first set of FCP plug-ins. Continuing a tradition they began, they have produced a new set of freebies for FCP users:
InfraRed Sim, Night Vision, Silver Print, Slow-Mo, Trackable Garbage Matte
Gotta love tradition!

iZotope Vinyl uses 64-bit processing and advanced filtering, modeling and resampling to create authentic "vinyl" simulation, as if the audio was a record being played on a record player.
You can control Mechanical Noise, Electrical Noise, Wear Control, Dust, Scratches, Warp even the the year of the record player - from current linear tracking turntables to 1930 phonographs as well as switch between stereo and mono output.

Basic Text - a modification of the original 'Lower 3rd' text generator with additional controls, Jiggler jiggles the position of the frame randomly & Shifter for FCP Shifter which shifts the clip one video line down. So PAL DV25/PRO25/PRO50 and SD clips can be used in the same timeline.

Steppy Edges| see also About DV
Adam Wilt is the man who knows everything about the DV format and he has two plug-ins:
One smoothes the "steppy edges" resulting from DV's 4:1:1 chroma subsampling (Adam thinks FCP4's subsampling filters generally do a better job but if you are using an earlier version of FCP...)
The other filter repositions the chroma of an image - using one-pixel steps - relative to the luma.
I'll leave it to Adam to explain where & how these filters can best be used. HINT: exporting stills and chromakey.
You want arrows? What about a better text compositing tool that allows multiple lines of text, fade in and type on, wrapping to screen and more? Want to see stars or a spiral thing? Don't take drugs, take Stib's.
How about a De-Interlacer, a Colouriser, a Field Swapper, a Levels & Gamma filter, Film Curves?
Colour key cross, Smear, Stib's better push, and the Zoom blur cross
Get ye to Stib!
